Tech Mahindra buys US design consultancy Mad*Pow

Tech Mahindra announced the acquisition of Mad*Pow, a design consultancy headquartered in Boston, the US.
Tech Mahindra LabFinancial details were not disclosed.

The acquisition of Mad*Pow will assist Tech Mahindra to enhance capabilities in Customer Experience (CX) and digital transformation such as research, experience strategy and service design, user experience design, behavior change design, content strategy, mobile app and web development, design ops, data science and analytics.

Will Powley, founder and chief creative officer of Mad*Pow, said Tech Mahindra’s reach will enable Mad*Pow to scale faster by enhancing its digital transformation offerings with existing and potential clients.

Mad*Pow’s 80+ team includes designers, strategists, behaviour change experts, researchers, technologists, and creative thinkers. Will Powley is the founder and chief creative officer of Mad*Pow.

Tech Mahindra reported revenue of $1.247.1 billion (+1.9 percent) with EBITDA of $190 million (–4.8 percent) and PAT of $138.7 million (+5.2 percent) during the June quarter of 2019.
