TCS Q2 revenue up 17.7% to $3.93 bn, net income up 17.8% to $872 mn

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) today said Q2 fiscal 2015 revenue rose 17.7 percent to $3.93 billion, while net income grew 17.8 percent to $872 million.

TCS operating profit increased 4.8 percent to $1,055 million.

Gross employee addition during the second quarter was 20,350 and total headcount reached 313,757, said TCS in a statement.

TCS added four $50+ million clients and nine $20+ million clients added.
