Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has expanded its presence in Singapore by opening a 1,000 seater center to focus on clients in banking and financial services.
The new center will provide application development, digital and IT services to global banks in Asia Pacific region.
The TCS Singapore Banking and Financial Services (BFS) center will replace a 500 seater center which was opened in 2011. The center will now offer a broader range of services with a major focus on digital offerings.
Globally over 40 percent of TCS revenue comes from the BFS sector. Asia Pacific delivered 7.4 percent of TCS revenue for the third quarter in 2014.
TCS with its BFS services and BaNCS software solutions partners with the world’s banks and financial institutions.
TCS in Singapore includes the Singapore Marathon IT Consultancy Partner, where TCS provides the mobile application for the nation’s premier running event.
TCS and Singapore Airlines have co deployed TCS CrewCollab Solution, a tablet based mobile application for cabin crew to deliver more personalized customer service.
SMU and TCS started SMU-TCS iCity Lab relationship in 2011 for research related to intelligent cities and was expected through 2018 for a number of research initiatives and projects.
