Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced its IT outsourcing deal with Sweden’s Lansforsakringar Bank for deploying its TCS BaNCS platform to power its growth and transformation.

The Mumbai-headquartered TCS, a top IT service provider competing with Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, etc. will also provide system integration and support services to ensure a smooth transition for Lansforsakringar Bank’s current environment.

Recently, TCS announced that Euroclear, the Central Securities Depository in the Nordics, has adopted TCS BaNCS for its Market Infrastructure platform.

TCS has around 9,000 IT professionals working in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Iceland and across TCS’ Global Network Delivery Model, servicing leading Nordic companies. Since 2010, TCS has tripled the size of its operations in the region, with significant increase in local hiring.

N Ganapathy Subramaniam, president, TCS Financial Solutions, said: “TCS BaNCS’ functionality will underpin Lansforsakringar Bank’s digital banking services and offer a highly personalized customer experience. TCS BaNCS will reduce the time to market for new products, time to compliance for regulations, and cost of operations.”
