NTT DATA, Inc. today announced its acquisition of Dell Services has closed, expanding the company’s IT services leadership globally.
The newly acquired business will be called NTT DATA Services on an interim basis. Suresh Vaswani, president of Dell Services, has agreed to continue to lead NTT DATA Services through the end of its current fiscal year to ensure a smooth transition.
Toshio Iwamoto, president and CEO of NTT DATA Corporation, said: “The acquisition of Dell Services is another step toward achieving our vision of becoming a top five global IT services leader.”
“We invest $1.8 billion annually in R&D with more than 6,000 research professionals and R&D facilities worldwide. Our complementary portfolios and investments will accelerate NTT DATA’s innovation in key areas like digital, cloud, analytics and automation,” said John McCain, who will be heading the new business.
John McCain will be heading NTT DATA Services and the following members will be reporting to him.
