Sitel to add 3,500 new customer care employees in U.S. and Canada

Sitel has decided to add hire approximately 3,500 new customer care employees at locations across the U.S. and Canada.

The BPO major said careers include full-time roles at contact centers and hundreds of positions within its rapidly growing Work@Home Solutions program, providing opportunities for workers regardless of their proximity to contact centers.

Sitel said the new associates will support Sitel’s rapidly expanding business with leading companies in markets such as retail, travel, financial services, communications and consumer electronics. Sitel agents deliver industry leading omnichannel customer care services, including telephone, email, web chat and social media.

For employees, the at-home model provides an ideal way to manage work-life balance needs. Sitel has recently doubled its remote workforce and anticipates the trend to continue in 2014.
