Sitel is set to add 200 new customer service positions to its inbound customer care contact center in Augusta, GA.
The hiring is to address the company’s continued business growth.
The company will also host an on-site job fair on Thursday, May 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the company’s facility at 2115 Windsor Spring Rd. in Augusta, said Sitel.
The new associates will join the current team of 800 employees in serving as the voice of customer care for a leading Fortune 500 wireless provider, as well as for a major healthcare company.
Sitel said that the business expansion is the result of the current Augusta team’s expertise in services such as billing, account records management, technical support and customer service.
The contact center provider said its Augusta site will expand its management team to accommodate the growth in customer service agents.
There are chances for promotion. The company promoted more than 30 employees to entry and senior management positions with 100 percent of those promoted having started out their careers as customer service representatives last year.
