Serco named major contender in finance and accounting outsourcing industry

Global BPO firm Serco announced that its finance and accounting (FAO) business has been positioned as a Major Contender by Everest Group on its PEAK Matrix Assessment 2013 report.

The recognition is a significant endorsement of the capabilities Serco has built and integrated over the past one year, officials at Serco said.

The assessment was based on the detailed analysis of the company’s market success and wins in 2012, along with assessing the scale, scope, technology, delivery footprint and buyer satisfaction levels of providers’ finance and accounting operations.

Serco has strong FAO expertise in the travel, logistics and hospitality markets. The company sees good opportunities for growing its FAO business in other sectors and geographies.
