Science Applications International (SAIC) announced its $58 million IT deal to manage NASA’s cloud-based web services.
SAIC said it received the task order — roughly for seven years — under the NASA Enterprise Applications Service Technologies (EAST) 2 Master Agreement. SAIC will manage the IT deal in Huntsville, Alabama, and will perform the work across the U.S.
SAIC said it will support NASA with its existing cloud-based hosting capabilities for the Information Technology Infrastructure Integration Program’s Web Services Support task order. These services include the creation, maintenance, and management of websites, web applications, and other ancillary services.
“Our team will be providing mission-critical services to NASA’s centers and missions,” said Bob Genter, senior vice president and general manager of the Federal Civilian Customer Group at SAIC.
