Newgen expands business process management services to West Africa

Infotech Lead Africa: Newgen Software Technologies, a provider of Business Process Management (BPM), Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Customer Communication Management (CCM) is expanding to West Africa.

The expansion is the result of the company’s recent wins in the banking, Telecom and Government sectors.

Some of the core processes which have been chosen for automation by many banks in West African space are focused on Customer On-boarding, Corporate Credit Processes, and automation of processes in Centralized Processing Centers or Shared Service Centers.

“Africa is currently experiencing robust growth in banking, telecom and government domains. West Africa is a major contributor and Newgen wants to be part of this growth story,” said Diwakar Nigam – MD & CEO, Newgen Software. “Companies in the region are looking for advanced technology solution to enable their businesses, drive innovation and help them attain performance levels enjoyed by their global counterparts.”

The company is actively looking to increase its partner base and is looking for tie-ups in all leading verticals across the region. Over the next five years, Newgen will pursue an aggressive expansion strategy and set up operations in key cities to consolidate on the encouraging progress it had made in the current year.

Newgen is also helping organizations reach out to their customers through innovative solutions like Mobile Capture solution – ZapIn and Customer Communication Management (CCM) solution that provides consolidated e-statements, offers up-selling and cross-selling avenues and multi-channel integration.

As part of thee initiatives, Newgen has placed a strong emphasis on utilization of local resources in implementation processes. Newgen’s customers as well as partners have had their resources trained on the platform, which enables them to implement the system completely on their own or with minimal help from Newgen.
