Mindtree acquires Relational Solutions to bolsters offering for CPG companies

Mindtree has acquired Relational Solutions, provider of analytics for Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) retail execution.

Mindtree along with Relational Solutions will enhance its ability to drive profitable growth using predictive analytics.

The company did not disclose financial terms of the acquisition.

The company said Relational Solutions’ complementary intellectual property will bolster Mindtree’s offerings for CPG companies.

Relational Solutions will support POSmart, BlueSky Analytics and TradeSmart and PromoPro.

POSmart integrates and warehouses demand data like Retail Point of Sale, inventory, shipments, consumption and market share and reduces data integration cycle time from six months to three weeks.

This apart, BlueSky Analytics allows category, sales and account management teams to leverage the data housed in POSmart and elsewhere.

With TradeSmart and PromoPro, CPG companies can accurately measure trade spend ROI and plan new promotions through predictive algorithms/models.

In February, Mindtree announced its digital deal with Kellogg Company to manage its global digital marketing platform.

Last year in November, IT services provider Mindtree today announced its deal with fashion brand Esprit to become more competitive and monitored and supported Esprit’s SAP applications suite.
