KPIT on Tuesday announced its new Business Process as a Service (BPaaS) offering Powered by Oracle for Oracle’s JD Edwards.
The company said its BPaaS offering will enable enterprise customers to drive more value to their business and align with their business goals.
Business processes that are part of Oracle’s JD Edwards Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Suite such as Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Plan to Produce, Financial Management and Inventory Management to customers, will be offered by KPIT through this cloud-based solution.
The company will offer BPaaS as a Subscription Based ERP solution in Plug and Play format, enabling customers to go live in 3 weeks. This offering, while alleviating the need for an on premise ERP setup, will simplify the ERP operations. It will help customers to concentrate on their businesses without worrying about implementations, upgrades, or maintenance of their ERP systems.
Baljeet Chhazal, global head, Oracle Business, KPIT, said: “KPIT’s BPaaS offering will enable customers to improve business agility, achieve scalability and reduce their ERP expenditure by moving from a traditional Capex model to a more flexible Opex model.”
Tibor Beles, vice president, Business Process Services, Oracle, said: “By leveraging Oracle technology in tandem with the domain expertise of a valued BPaaS partner, like KPIT, customers can remain agile, be responsive to changing market conditions and effectively manage costs.”
