Infosys to invest Rs 750 crore to build Noida center

Indian IT service provider Infosys will make an investment of Rs 750 crore in the first phase to build a 2.7 million square feet facility to accommodate 5,000 employees in Noida, Delhi-NCR.

The Uttar Pradesh government had allotted 27.5 acres of land for the new facility.

“The facility is a critical part of our effort to enhance our presence in the national capital region and leverage the talent pool available in this market,” said Salil Parekh, CEO and MD, Infosys.

The project’s design will be done by RSP Design Consultants from Singapore and will aim to achieve a LEED Platinum rating, the highest level of certification for a green building, given by the U.S. Green Building Council.
