Infosys Senior VP Chandrashekar Kakal has resigned from the company.
Kakal, who held the operational responsibility for the Indian Business Unit, is among some nine top-level exits in the last nine months.
He was previously the global head of business IT services (BITS) that contributes around 62 percent of Infosys’s overall revenue. In addition, he had additional responsibility of overseeing the consulting and systems integration (CSI) businesses that contribute around 33.6 percent.
Infosys is undergoing several changes.
Recently, Infosys appointed BG Srinivas and UB Pravin Rao as presidents of the company and realigned business portfolios under the two presidents. Srinivas focuses on global markets, while Pravin Rao looks at global delivery and service innovation.
