Technology outsourcing company Infosys has opened its delivery center (DC) in Karlovac, Croatia as part of the strategy to expand presence in Eastern Europe.
The Bangalore-headquartered Infosys aims to enhance client servicing, tap Eastern Europe’s established heavy engineering sector and add local jobs by opening the Karlovac facility in Croatia.
The new facility will meet near-shoring requirements, support engineering clients worldwide, as well as offer R&D services.
“The focus will be on consolidating consulting, IT and engineering skills in power generation, design and development of large gas and steam turbines, digital solutions for service and maintenance, and development of advanced engineering software tools,” said Ravi Kumar S, president and deputy chief operating officer of Infosys.
