Infosys has reported revenues of $3.060 billion (+9.1 percent) with operating profit of $658 million (–5.1 percent) in Q4 fiscal 2018-19.
Infosys, a leading IT services provider based in India, said its revenue has reached $11.799 billion (+7.9 percent) with operating profit of $2.696 billion (+1.4 percent) in fiscal 2018-19.
Infosys CEO Salil Parekh said: “Our investments have started yielding benefits. As we look ahead into fiscal 2020, we plan to deploy various measures of operational efficiencies across the business.”
Infosys achieved digital revenues of $1.035 billion – representing 33.8 percent of total revenues in Q4 fiscal 2019.
Infosys generated 31.6 percent of its total revenue from financial services, 15.9 percent from retail, 13.5 percent from communication, 12.7 percent from energy, utilities, resources & services, 10 percent from manufacturing, 7.7 percent from Hi Tech and 6 percent from life sciences.
Infosys has generated 61.2 percent of its total revenue from North America, 24 percent from Europe, 12.5 percent from rest of the world and 2.3 percent from India.
Infosys said the total number of employees rose to 2,28,123 in March 2019 from 2,25,501 in Dec 2018 and 2,04,107 in March 2018.
