Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) has revealed that it’s looking for a new Chief Executive Officer in place of long-time CEO Partha DeSarkar, who will be retiring.

Under Partha DeSarkar’s leadership, HGS has grown from a boutique firm with two clients and less than $10 million in revenue to a $600 million enterprise supporting hundreds of global brands in their CX-led digital transformation journeys.

HGS has an 18,000-strong workforce. The leadership transition marks a new chapter in the company’s journey towards becoming a global AI-driven transformation powerhouse.

Hinduja Global Solutions is doubling down on AI-led technology services as it continues to enhance customer experiences (CX) in an increasingly digital world.

HGS has been at the forefront of AI-driven service innovation, enabling businesses to harness the power of artificial intelligence for tangible business impacts. The company offers a suite of AI solutions, including:

HGS Agent X: A suite of contact center accelerators powered by Agentic AI, designed to enhance intelligent experience management. Since its launch in late 2022, it has driven significant improvements in productivity, sales, and overall business performance, impacting over 1,300 agents across industries. Clients have reported a 15-20 percent increase in sales conversions and up to a 20 percent reduction in frontline support costs.

HGS AI Ignite: An enterprise AI model service that includes Intelligent Document Processing, Conversational Commerce, and Generative AI capabilities.

HGS CyberSecurity Solutions: A suite of solutions ensuring secure and responsible AI adoption.

Expansion and Global Growth

To support its AI and digital-first transformation, HGS continues to expand its operational footprint. Key recent expansions include:

South Africa: The company launched a CX hub in Cape Town on March 27, 2025, showcasing digital innovation, impact sourcing, and superior customer service capabilities. The workforce in Cape Town has more than doubled to 200 employees since July 2024.

Canada: A new delivery center in Waterloo, set to open in April 2025, will focus on digital and CX services, particularly for public sector clients.

India: In January 2025, HGS launched a new center in Bengaluru to provide AI Platform technology services, further strengthening its digital offerings.

Currently, HGS operates from 33 locations across 10 countries, serving 360+ CX/Digital clients and 821 HRO/Payroll processing clients. The company’s Digital Media business, NXTDIGITAL, boasts a broadband and DTV customer base exceeding six million in India.
