HCL Technologies sets up BPO operations in Manila

IT services provider HCL Technologies has opened its global delivery center for business process outsourcing services inManila.

HCL selectedManilato leverage Philippine’s time zone advantage.

The new center will employ 400 professionals and service BPO customers in financial services, healthcare & pharmaceuticals, MPE and other industries.

HCL is planning to deliver transaction services such as F&A, SCM, and domain oriented industry specific processes from thePhilippinescenter.

“This center in Philippine reinforces HCL’s assurance of a homogenous experience and single service standards across all its BPO delivery centers. The plan for setting up the delivery centre inPhilippineswas influenced by country’s growing prominence as a strong BPO services hub,” said Rahul Singh, president, Financial Services, and president – Business Services, HCL Technologies.

HCL is working with the Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPAP) to engage with professionals and academic institutions.

HCL is planning to recruit young graduates inManila.
