IT outsourcing company HCL Technologies has appointed C Vijaykumar as the chief operating officer (COO).
At HCL Technologies, Vijaykumar is currently the president of Global Infrastructure Services business, responsible for strategy, product, sales and delivery.
Vijaykumar currently handles HCL Technologies’ $2.2 billion business and around 30,000 employees, which involves managing IT infrastructure of Fortune 500 companies.
Vijaykumar, who spent nearly 20 years at HCL Technologies, will accelerate growth of the IT services company in the core outsourcing business as HCL evolves its service offerings into integrated propositions, across all segments and regions.
Vijaykumar was the member founding startup team at HCL Comnet. HCL Technologies has consolidated revenues of $6.2 billion and 104,896 professionals for 12 Months ended 31 March, 2016.
