HCL Technologies bags infrastructure management service order from Novartis

IT services vendor HCL Technologies has bagged a major order from Novartis to provide global infrastructure management services.

HCL Technologies did not share financial details of the IT contract.

As part of the IT deal, Novartis will leverage HCL’s global delivery model for remote infrastructure management services across its entire data centre landscape, covering more than 70 countries across six continents.

Ashish Gupta, executive VP and head of Infrastructure Services, EMEA, HCL Technologies, said: “Our outcome-based business models, best practices and tools deliver proven value and cost savings that help our clients to be more competitive and responsive to changing market dynamics.”

HCL is now managing the infrastructure environment of four of the top seven pharmaceutical companies worldwide.
