HCL Technologies bags IT deal from Statkraft

HCL Technologies announced its IT deal with the Norway based renewable energy company Statkraft.

As part of the five-and-a-half-year IT deal, HCL Technologies will enable Statkraft to adopt IT services in 18 countries. Financial details of the technology outsourcing contract was not disclosed.

HCL Technologies will provide integrated infrastructure services by implementing a modern, flexible and scalable infrastructure solution, including datacentre, service desk, workplace, network and security services, application operations and cross functional services.

Johnny Langsrud, CIO of Statkraft, said: “The technical competence of HCL team, alongside their impressive list of successful engagements in the region were also important factors for us when selecting HCL as our preferred partner.”
