Infotech Lead India: HCL Infosystems will offer contact centre service support for Philips’ consumer lifestyle products.
This is an important contract for HCL Infosystems that has reported 19.8 percent dip in Q3 FY 2013 revenue to Rs 2,095 crore from Rs 2,612 crore. Poor performance of telecom distribution and PC businesses has mainly impacted the revenue growth.
HCL Infosystem has set up a contact center in Noida, Delhi NCR, for providing pan India service support.
The partnership marks HCL’s foray into after sales services in consumer lifestyle product space.
HCL Care will also handle the distribution and sales service of spares of Philips consumer lifestyle products in India. The service personnel will be jointly trained and developed by HCL Care and Philips.
