HCL Technologies today announced its five-year information technology outsourcing contract with Husqvarna, a manufacturer of robotic mowers, garden tractors, chainsaws and trimmers.
Currently, HCL Technologies is providing application management services to Husqvarna. The latest deal enables HCL Technologies to provide integrated infrastructure and applications services, covering data centre services, network services, security services, applications operations and support services.
The terms of the IT outsourcing deal were not disclosed.
As per the deal, HCL Technologies will utilize its infrastructure and applications services and global delivery model to drive data center consolidation and assets optimization for Husqvarna. The main benefits to Husqvarna will be the rapid adoption of technologies and better customer experience, said HCL.
