Genpact revenue up 9%, net income up 22% in Q2

Genpact said its revenue rose 9 percent to $609.5 million, while income from operations grew 22 percent to $89.4 million in the second quarter of 2015.

Revenue of Genpact from global clients rose 12 percent to $495 million, representing 81 percent of total revenues.

Q2 revenue of Genpact from GE fell 4 percent to $114.5 million, representing 19 percent of total revenues.

Total BPO revenue rose 13 percent to $481.2 million, representing 79 percent of total revenues.

Global client BPO revenue grew 18 percent to $391 million.

GE BPO revenue fell 3 percent to $90.3 million.

Total IT revenue dipped 6 percent to $128.3 million, representing 21 percent of total revenues.

Genpact said its Global client IT dropped 5 percent to $104 million.

GE IT revenue fell 11 percent to $24.3 million.

Genpact had approximately 69,800 employees worldwide against approximately 66,900 as of June 30, 2014.
Genpact’s employee attrition rate for the quarter was approximately 29 percent compared to 26 percent for the same period in 2014.

Genpact targets revenue of $2.46 to $2.50 billion in 2015.
