Genesys to buy Echopass to enhance cloud contact center presence

Customer engagement and contact center solutions provider Genesys is set to buy Echopass Corporation.

The company did not reveal financial details.

Based in Pleasanton, CA. Echopass has several clients which are among the largest cloud contact center deployments in the world.

The acquisition will add to the 1,250 existing Genesys cloud customers establishing Genesys as the market leader in cloud-based contact centers.

Earlier this year, Genesys launched a comprehensive cloud solutions for contact centers and customer engagement. Genesys cloud solutions for small and mid-sized organizations are designed for rapid deployment, while contact center solutions for enterprises are scalable and customized.

The acquisition addresses the needs of enterprises which experience both dynamic changes and tremendous customer engagement opportunities.

The Echopass platform, which has incorporated Genesys software since 2000, brings unprecedented scale to the Genesys platform cloud offering for large Enterprises, including State and Federal Governments supporting thousands of agent positions.
