Deloitte to acquire advertising agency Heat

Deloitte announced its deal to acquire Heat, an advertising agency with strong digital consultancy in San Francisco, to strengthen Deloitte Digital practice.

Heat will operate within Deloitte Digital as an advertising agency, working across traditional, digital, and social media. Heat president John Elder, founder Steve Stone, and managing director Mike Barrett will continue in their current roles with Heat.

In November 2015, IDC said there will be boom in the global digital transformation business for IT companies because two-thirds of 2,000 CEOs will focus on digital transformation to bolster growth and profitability.

Digital business strategies will drive more than 50 percent of enterprise IT spending within the next 24 months, rising to 60 percent by 2020, said IDC.

Deloitte Digital has set up creative digital consulting. Cognizant is one of the IT service providers with strong digital practice.
