IT services provider CSC announced its deal with Ohio Mutual Insurance Group to supply Premium Billing 360° (PB360°), its billing software.
The Bucyrus, Ohio-based Ohio Mutual will use the billing software to process insurance bill types and lines of business across all distribution channels, to expand its business, enhance customer intimacy, and accelerate growth.
The insurer offers policies covering homes, autos, farms and commercial properties in seven U.S. states through a network of nearly 400 independent agents. CSC targets the billing software for property and casualty carriers, life insurance and annuity companies, and health insurers.
CSC said PB360° billing software ensures 24×7 real-time system via Internet browser or mobile apps to provide billing and payment options. The software offers more than one hundred different configuration points, enabling users to add new plans, retire old ones and make other changes without IT involvement.
“We were seeking a modern, enterprise-wide billing software that could interface with our existing systems to streamline internal processes and lower operating costs,” said Todd Albert, vice president of Information Systems for Ohio Mutual Insurance.
CSC said PB360° billing software supports detailed producer management and commission processing, enabling automatic and on-demand correspondence.
The billing software provides standard operating reports and stores transactional data in a relational database for additional reporting purposes. In addition, users can utilize the billing software to create customized reports with the optional Business Analytics component or other reporting tools.
