Convergys revenue drops 1% to $742 million in Q3

BPO major Convergys said its revenue fell 1 percent to $742 million in the third quarter of 2015.

“We are investing in global infrastructure and agent training to drive excellence for our clients,” said Andrea Ayers, president and CEO of Convergys.

Net income of Convergys increased to $58 million from $30 million.

Convergys generated $400 million from communications business, $160 million from technology business and $51 million from Financial Services and the balance $132 million from others.

Convergys is expected to clock revenue of $750 million to $760 million in the fourth quarter of 2015.
