Convergys posts 2% increase in Q4 2012 revenue to $509 million

Infotech Lead America: Convergys has posted 2 percent increase in Q4 2012 revenue to $509 million.

This included transition services revenue related to discontinued operations in both periods of $5 million and $1 million, respectively.

Andrea Ayers, president and CEO, said entering 2013, we continue to execute our growth strategy and expect another year of performance improvement.

Operating income from continuing operations increased marginally to $38 million from $37 million.

Convergys’ net income in Q4 increased to $28 million from $26 million.

Convergys expects revenue to exceed $2,045 million, increasing from prior year’s $2,005 million.

The company expects second-half 2013 results to exceed first-half 2013 results.
