Cognizant opens new delivery center in Malaysia

Cognizant delivery center in Malaysia
IT services provider Cognizant has opened a new delivery center in Cyberjaya, Kuala Lumpur.

The new center will enhance Cognizant’s existing operations in Malaysia and accommodate more than 100 professionals. It will enable Cognizant’s global, regional and local clients to leverage the technical and business capabilities available in the region.

Cognizant currently employs approximately 300 professionals, delivering a range of applications, IT infrastructure, consulting and business process services to clients across industry sectors.

Jayajyoti Sengupta, APAC Head at Cognizant, said: “Our operations in Malaysia form an important part of our integrated global delivery capabilities and the new centre marks an important milestone in our mission to leverage the best talent globally.”

Headquartered in Teaneck, New Jersey (U.S.), Cognizant has 100 development and delivery centers worldwide and approximately 221,700 employees as of December 31, 2015.
