Cognizant to acquire Netcentric to enhance the digital business

Cognizant DigitalCognizant is set to acquire Netcentric, a provider of digital experience and marketing solutions for leading brands in Europe to enhance the digital business of Cognizant.

The technology outsourcing company said Allianz, Mercedes-Benz, Miles & More, Raiffeisen, Swisscom and UBS are some of the clients of Netcentric in Europe.

Netcentric, which has its headquarters in Zurich, has nearly 380 digital marketing resources in the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Switzerland and Germany, as well as regional delivery centers in Barcelona and Bucharest.

Cognizant aims to enhance the ability to deliver business critical digital experience solutions for clients in Europe and around the world with the acquisition of Netcentric.

Netcentric’s approximately 380 digital marketing specialists will join the Cognizant Digital Business practice to address clients’ needs to redefine business models, innovate products, deepen market intelligence and enhance digital experiences to drive growth and efficiencies in their business.

Gajen Kandiah, president, Cognizant Digital Business, said the acquisition further extends its Adobe Experience Cloud presence for the global brands.
