Capgemini unveils LIMS and ERP as a Service

Capgemini has unveiled the industries first laboratory information management system (LIMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) as a service solution in association with Thermo Fisher Scientific.

The latest solution from Capgemini will be targeted at chemicals, energy, manufacturing and life sciences companies by offering real time decision making capabilities to streamline data intelligence, mitigate risk, increase productivity and improve profitability across their supply chain.

LIMS data will integrate with the ERP to generate dashboard driven view of the enterprise, by incorporating Thermo Fisher Scientific Informatics Suite of products with Capgemini’s Service management and service level agreement (SLA) Reporting Command Center.

This transformation view enables Enterprise Quality Intelligence across the supply chain that can improve forecasting, analysis and supply chain scheduling and accurately access quality control measures and assurance steps in production.

Last month, Capgemini has also launched its new Cybersecurity Global Service Line. The offers bring together the Group’s capabilities in cybersecurity including 2,500 Capgemini professionals with proven cybersecurity skills.

The new combined LIMS/ERP aims to improve responsiveness of the labs and parties involved in viewing the data and leveraging the solution to meet today’s market demands and offers access to real-time quality intelligence from the laboratory to the C-suite.

The new integration allow offers full integration of the quality laboratory data with the supply chain ERP system, generation of laboratory data assets across the organization, service level agreements for production and accelerated deployments for enterprise software implementation.
