Capgemini India announced the appointment of Srinivas Kandula as chairman and Ashwin Yardi as the CEO.
Both Srinivas Kandula and Ashwin Yardi will be reporting to Thierry Delaporte, group chief operating officer (COO) whose responsibility also includes India.
Ashwin Yardi was the India COO of Capgemini from January 2016 to December 2018, while Srinivas Kandula was India CEO of Capgemini India between January 2016 and December 2018.
Srinivas Kandula will focus on augmenting the brand and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders. He will handle important Group initiative focused on top talent, leveraging his experience in human resources.
“With 100,000 people – half of our workforce – based in India across twelve locations, this leadership reinforcement is a natural step and reflects Capgemini in India’s role at the very heart of our Group,” Thierry Delaporte said.
