BPO firm Williams Lea to enhance resources in India

Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company Williams Lea is planning to enhance its resources in India.

At present, the group employs approximately 10,600 staff across the globe, with key locations in the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific and is owned by Deutsche Post DHL.

The BPO firm did not disclose the target resources.

The expansion is in line with the growth the BPO company is experiencing growth across multiple disciplines.

Williams Lea, which is present in the country for over 10 years, is currently observing demand for services such as Information Center & Research, Creative Production, Information Technology and Finance & Accounting, the company said.

As part of this exercise, Williams Lea’s creative arm, Tag, is also looking to ramp up operations.

“Chennai is an integral part of our global growth strategy and Williams Lea seeks to capitalize on the exceptional human resource pool in the region to provide cutting-edge knowledge based services and an enhanced client experience,” said Dharmendra Patwardhan, MD, Williams Lea India.

The Chennai-based Williams Lea India has centers in Cochin, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Gurgaon.
