Azur Global, a US-based IT services company, has acquired Chennai-based Sybrant Technologies, to add capability in areas like virtual reality and cyber user experience.
The company did not reveal the financial details of the cash deal.
Azur Global will absorb all 84 employees of Sybrant.
Sybrant founder V Thyagarajan will become the managing director of Azur India post the acquisition.
Ranghan Venkataraman, founder of Azur Global, said the acquisition will help enhance capability in areas like virtual reality and cyber user experience.
Azur Global has 400 employees globally and nearly half are in India, supporting US operations in areas like digital and marketing.
Azur Global aims to grow its revenue to $100 million by next year-end from around $30 million at present.
