Atos buys ESM provider Engage ESM

atos-technology-for-enterprisesAtos, a digital services company, announced the acquisition of Engage ESM, a provider in the enterprise-service management (ESM) sector.

The acquisition of Engage ESM will enable Atos to offer enhanced portfolio of cloud-based service-management solutions to enterprise and emerging customers.

The investment is aimed at strengthening the position of Atos as the number one brand in IT and digital services in Europe. Atos is a ServiceNow Gold Sales Partner.

“The acquisition of Engage ESM is a additional step towards our 2019 Ambition and our commitment to help our customers with all their digital transformation needs. It will enhance the technological strengths and skills of our Digital Transformation Factory, notably in the field of the Orchestrated Hybrid Cloud,” said Eric Grall, head of Atos Infrastructure & Data Management division.

Mat Middleton, CEO of Engage ESM said: “This is an exciting development for our customers across EMEA and the US.”

Atos has annual revenue of €12 billion and 100,000 employees in 72 countries. Engage ESM, which has 140 employees, has £17 million revenues. Majority of Engage ESM employees are based in the UK.
