Accenture to buy Wabion in Google Cloud business push

Accenture has agreed to acquire Wabion, a Google Cloud services boutique with headquarters in Esslingen, Germany and Olten, Switzerland as well as additional offices in Munich, Cologne and Lausanne.

The team of more than 60 professionals will join Accenture’s Google Cloud Business Group, part of Accenture Cloud First.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Last year, Accenture announced the creation of Accenture Cloud First, a multi-service group of 70,000 cloud professionals, as well as a $3 billion investment over three years to expand its cloud service capabilities and offerings.
