IT consulting firm Accenture said it expects current-quarter revenue to come in between $13.90 billion and $14.35 billion.
Accenture’s revenue rose 24 percent to $13.42 billion in the fourth fiscal quarter ended Aug. 31, 2021.
Net income rose to $1.42 billion, or $2.20 per share, for the quarter ended Aug. 31, from $1.29 billion or $1.99 per share a year earlier.
Accenture’s net income for the quarter was $1.44 billion, compared with $1.31 billion for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2020.
Accenture has generated $2.77 billion (+26 percent) from Communications, Media & Technology, $2.61 billion (+24 percent) from Financial Services, $2.50 billion (+20 percent) from Health & Public Service, $3.73 billion (+29 percent) from Products and $1.80 billion (+17 percent) from Resources in the fourth quarter of fiscal year.
Accenture reported revenues of $50.5 billion (+14 percent) for the full fiscal year.
Accenture generated $10.29 billion (+16 percent) from Communications, Media & Technology, $9.93 billion (+17 percent) from Financial Services, $9.5 billion (+18 percent) from Health & Public Service, $13.95 billion (+14 percent) from Products and $6.86 billion (+4 percent) from Resources in the fiscal year 2021.
