Accenture announced its managed services deal with Shell to support engineering, production and process control across its upstream and downstream operations.
On Wednesday, HP announced its deal with Shell to supply products and services.
In a statement, Accenture said it will provide application management services, which will include the support, as well as maintenance and deployment of more than 260 applications in engineering and real-time data-analytics of production operations and process control.
Accenture will support and maintain applications such as Oracle Primavera, Intergraph SmartPlant and OSIsoft’s PI System.
Accenture’s Global Delivery Network locations in India will be used to optimize the support of delivery operations and create an IT deployment engine.
