Accenture has acquired DAZ Systems, a provider of Oracle ERP Cloud services that help organizations deploy enterprise performance management and human capital management applications.
The acquisition enhances Accenture’s Oracle capabilities and delivers new value for its Cloud clients.
“Organizations demand proven expertise, as well as new innovative solutions and methods to help them transform their businesses,” Bhaskar Ghosh, group chief executive, Accenture Technology Services, said.
DAZ’s 300 professionals including DAZ CEO Walt Zipperman will join Accenture’s Oracle Business Group.
DAZ Systems, headquartered in El Segundo, California, is one of the top Platinum-level partners in Oracle’s PartnerNetwork. It delivered more than 500 Oracle implementations to-date. DAZ, founded in 1995, is Oracle ERP Cloud and HCM Cloud certified and was named Oracle’s Cloud Partner of the Year in 2015, 2016, and 2017.
Accenture recently acquired Certus Solutions, a UK-based Oracle Cloud implementation provider, for strengthening its digital transformation business.
Accenture has more than 54,000 Oracle-skilled consultants who help in digital transformation by implementing Oracle-based business solutions and new business processes that develop and evolve as their digital business grows.
Accenture to buy New Content
Accenture has also entered into an agreement to acquire New Content, a Brazilian content marketing agency, to strengthen its customer experience services provided through Accenture Interactive
Sao Paulo-based New Content has more than 200 professionals. Its client base includes both multinational and local brands, including Electrolux, LATAM, and Natura. The New Content leadership team of Giovanni Rivetti, Edoardo Rivetti, Beto Feres and Raphael Alcantara will continue in their leadership roles and assume additional responsibilities within Accenture Interactive.
