Tableau expands in China to serve customers locally

Tableau Software has launched operations in China to serve customers and partners locally.

The company will help more people to see and understand their data as China’s business analytics services market is set to maintain accelerated growth.

China’s business analytics services market reached US $1.398 billion in 2014 and will reach US $3.027 billion in 2019, at a CAGR of 16.7 percent.

Tableau Software also acquired Infoactive, an infographics web app startup based in Montreal.

Last month, Tableau Software selected approximately 210,000 square feet office at NorthEdge, a four-story building just north of Gas wWorks Park in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood.

In May, Tableau updated tableau Online version 9.0 that brings faster performance, additional live database connection support and single sign-on support.

In March, LOVOO deployed Tableau to analyze the quality of the data and to optimize the affiliate marketing and does product analysis.
