Qlik announces analytics deal with Hafele

Qlik announced its analytics deal with Hafele, a manufacturer of furniture fittings and architectural hardware in Europe, to drive visibility into its sales performance in India.

The visual analytics company said Hafele is also using QlikView NPrinting for its intuitive interface that allows schedule, generate and deliver reports to a variety of recipients.

The company claims that Hafele previously generated sales reports and Management Information System (MIS) reports through inefficient processes. Unifying data from multiple sources like Oracle and various excel files using SQL developers was consuming.

Thanks to QlikView analytics, extracting and transforming data gushing in from various sources and generating MIS and sales analysis reports is now faster and more flexible. QlikView says it has assisted Hafele to decrease reporting times, improve inventory control, and improve customer targeting.

“Qlik’s flexible platform has definitely helped us to save time and identify insightful market trends to drive effective business decisions,” said Prasad PVJ, head, Information Technology, Hafele India.

“QlikView apps are simple and intuitive that any business user across departments can analyze data and discover meaningful insights. Hafele can create visually rich analytics and embrace the benefits provided by our self-service interface to derive greater value from their data,” said Souma Das, managing director, Qlik India.
