Lenovo taps Talend Enterprise Big Data to analyze impact of campaigns

Lenovo has selected Talend Enterprise Big Data to utilize data from touch points such as third parties, APIs, and social networking feeds to analyze the effectiveness of its campaigns.

Utilizing Talend Enterprise Big Data, Lenovo, the world’s #1 PC maker and #4 smartphone company, performs big data integration with almost 300 processes running concurrently.

Following the usage of Big Data solutions from Talend, Lenovo saved approximately $140,000 in initial migration costs alone. In addition, Talend has helped Lenovo improve reporting performance and cut certain process times by a matter of hours to minutes.

“We have to continually increase our velocity in acquiring data, and the ease of use of the Talend platform allows us to deliver on those requests,” said Marc Gallman, manager of Data Architecture, Lenovo.

These increases in efficiency ultimately result in faster, smarter decisions that positively impact the company’s marketing strategies – both globally and regionally. With more rapid and frequent access to data, Lenovo can swiftly make adjustments to campaigns.
