Enterprise IT vendor IBM India – part of stepping up its analytics presence in enterprise HR — announced its cloud-based solutions and a Talent and Change consulting practice.
The new initiative from IBM will enable enterprises to use analytics and workforce science to identify talent, strengthen employee engagement and manage transformational change to provide better client experience.
IBM is delivering the offerings through its Smarter Workforce initiative.
The enterprise IT vendor cited two global studies that said CXOs are looking for analytics to support their organization growth.
As per an IBM global C-suite study recently, two out of five CEOs expect their next competitive threat to come from organizations outside their industries, requiring them to completely rethink their workforce design and processes.
A major challenge, according to this study, is the ability to attract and retain top talent while making sure the existing workforce is fully engaged to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
IBM Institute of Business Value study 87 percent of nearly 1,400 business leaders did not feel enough focus is placed on managing change. 20 percent felt they have been successful in managing change throughout the organization, and only 40 percent felt they have the right skills in place to manage change in the future.
