Ujjivan Financial Services has tapped IBM and Equifax for using data warehousing, business intelligence and analytics for customize its offerings.
Ujjivan Financial Services, a microfinance institution headquartered in Bangalore, which serves over 2.3 million urban, semi-urban and rural poor women in 24 states across India, will use the data mining capability of IBM’s tool and Equifax’s bureau data to optimize business value and adopt relevant models of product and risk management.
The microfinance company will be able to tap business opportunities timely, manage credit risk effectively and design products based on customer behavioral pattern, said IBM.
Sriram Rajan, executive director of IBM Analytics India and South Asia, said: “We are witnessing organizations like Ujjivan use data, and predictive technologies, to enhance their customer-centricity and make real-time decisions.”
