Big Data analytics firm Antuit secures $3 million funding led by Zodius

Big Data analytics firm Antuit, which is less than 1 year old, has received $3 million in initial investment in a round led by Zodius Capital.

Zodius Capital is founded by Neeraj Bhargava, former co-founder and CEO of WNS and Partner at McKinsey & Company.

Bhargava will be the chairman of Antuit.

Arijit Sengupta, Antuit’s founder and managing partner, who worked with IBM, Accenture, Daksh and WNS, launched Antuit in Singapore with an office in Bangalore, India in March 2013.

In less than 1 year, Antuit hired a team including industry veterans from companies such as P&G, Deloitte, Pepsi, IBM, Accenture, Amazon.com, Cadbury and others.

Antuit’s initial client focus was on supply chain analytics in the Asia Pacific region.

Recently, Antuit acquired New York-based analytics firm Marketwell, led by Navin Sharma.

Following the fund infusion, Antuit will simultaneously target the growing US and Asia-Pacific customer bases for analytics services with offerings for both supply chain and sales and marketing functions.

Antuit will initially target customers in two key industries – CPG & Retail including E-commerce and Transportation & Logistics, with plans to build out new industry practices in future years through strategic client relationships and acquisitions.
