BAE Systems awarded IT services contract from U.S. Department of Homeland Security

BAE Systems, a provider of intelligence and security services to manage big data, announced it has been awarded an Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions II (EAGLE II) contract.

The company may also compete to provide systems, software, and other IT services and support.  This will include a complete range of solutions and services to develop, implement, and maintain technologies that directly support DHS’s mission and daily business functions.

BAE Systems is one of fifteen primes awarded under the unrestricted track of Functional Category 1 and may compete to provide systems, software, and other IT services and support.

“Our expert team is offering innovative, cost-efficient IT solutions capable of addressing DHS’s current and future challenges,” said DeEtte Gray, president of BAE Systems’ Intelligence & Security sector.

“This award is further evidence of BAE Systems’ position as an industry leader in systems integration, backed by trusted IT and cyber security expertise,” Gray added.
