U.S. tech giants secure major AI deals in Saudi Arabia

U.S. technology firms, including Nvidia and AMD, have announced significant AI deals in the Middle East as part of $600 billion in commitments secured by U.S. President Donald Trump from Saudi Arabia.

For instance, Nvidia will supply hundreds of thousands of AI chips, starting with 18,000 “Blackwell” chips to Humain, a new AI startup backed by Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund. AMD also revealed a $10 billion collaboration with Humain.

Saudi Arabia has committed $600 billion to invest in the U.S., with a focus on emerging technologies and AI.

Amazon & Humain Partnership: Amazon Web Services and Saudi AI startup Humain will invest over $5 billion to develop an “AI Zone” in Saudi Arabia.

AMD & Humain Collaboration: AMD and Humain announced a $10 billion plan to deploy 500 megawatts of AI hardware infrastructure over five years.

Cisco joins AI Infrastructure Partnership:  Cisco has joined the AI Infrastructure Partnership (AIP), collaborating with major entities including BlackRock, Microsoft, NVIDIA, and xAI to attract $30 billion in capital for AI infrastructure investments. In Saudi Arabia, Cisco is partnering with HUMAIN to develop scalable and secure AI infrastructure, aiming to establish the country as a global AI hub. In the UAE, Cisco is expanding its strategic alliance with G42 to enhance AI innovation and infrastructure, potentially launching a joint go-to-market initiative. Additionally, in Qatar, Cisco has signed a letter of intent with the Ministry of Interior to advance the nation’s digital transformation, AI infrastructure, and cybersecurity.

DataVolt Investment: Saudi Arabian firm DataVolt will invest $20 billion in AI data centers and energy infrastructure in the U.S.

Tech Consortium Investment: Google, DataVolt, Oracle, Salesforce, AMD, and Uber will collectively invest $80 billion in transformative technologies across the U.S. and Saudi Arabia.

Nvidia & Humain AI Factory: Nvidia and Humain will deploy several hundred thousand AI chips in Saudi Arabia over five years, establishing AI factories with 500 megawatts of capacity.

Qualcomm CPU Deal: Qualcomm signed an MOU with Humain to develop a data center CPU, expanding its AI infrastructure offerings.
