In gaming, Tencent deployed AI tools to speed up content production, create realistic virtual teammates and non-player characters, and run AI-powered marketing campaigns that boosted user acquisition, engagement, and monetization.

Evergreen hits such as Honour of Kings and Peacekeeper Elite evolved into AI-enhanced platforms, while new release Delta Force exceeded 20 million monthly active users, ranking among China’s top five games by DAU. Internationally, AI-powered content updates and reward optimizations propelled Clash Royale to a seven-year high in monthly gross receipts.

Marketing services revenue jumped 20 percent to RMB35.8 billion, fueled by Tencent’s upgraded AI-powered advertising foundation model, which improved ad creation, targeting, and performance analysis. These enhancements drove higher click-through and conversion rates, delivering stronger returns for advertisers across Video Accounts, Mini Programs, and Weixin Search.

In fintech and business services, AI adoption accelerated as enterprise demand grew for GPU rental, API token usage, and eCommerce technology services. Tencent’s HunYuan foundation models advanced through data augmentation, scalable training, and 3D capabilities, achieving industry-leading precision and texture fidelity. The HunYuan 3D model gained adoption among game developers, 3D printing companies, and design professionals.

Investment activity remained strong, with capital expenditure of Tencent surging 119 percent to RMB19.1 billion, focused on IT infrastructure, data centers, and technology assets.

Tencent Video maintained 114 million subscribers, while Tencent Music reached 124 million subscribers during the quarter. Combined MAU of Weixin and WeChat has reached 1,411 million vs 1,371 million. Mobile device MAU of QQ has reached 532 million vs 571 million. The number of fee-based VAS paying users has reached 264 million as compared with 263 million.

Tencent Chairman and CEO Ma Huateng emphasized that Tencent’s AI-driven strategy not only enhanced core business performance but also created new revenue streams. With AI embedded across Weixin, games, marketing, and enterprise services, Tencent is well-positioned for sustained growth in the evolving global digital economy.
