Singtel launches RE:AI to democratize Artificial Intelligence for enterprises

Singtel today unveiled RE:AI, an Artificial Intelligence Cloud Service (AI Cloud) aimed at making AI technologies more accessible to organizations across industries.

SingTel

This service provides affordable access to AI, enabling seamless operational transformations without requiring investment in in-house infrastructure.

RE:AI offers a turnkey AI development and deployment platform that integrates AI compute resources such as graphics processing units (GPUs) and scalable storage. It incorporates advanced networks like 5G, fixed, and quantum-safe connections, all managed through Singtel’s orchestration platform, Paragon. This allows enterprises and public sector customers to deploy and scale AI applications with minimal overhead and infrastructure complexity.

During the RE:AI launch event, Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry,  Gan Kim Yong, officiated the signing of five Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with strategic partners in these areas.

With RE:AI, Singtel addresses key barriers to AI adoption, such as the high cost and energy consumption of GPUs and the complexity of AI technology. By reducing these obstacles, Singtel aims to foster innovation, attract global AI companies to Singapore, and position the country as a regional AI hub.

Additionally, Singtel’s launch of RE:AI aligns with its strategy to accelerate digital transformation. This includes the development of sustainable, hyper-connected AI-ready data centers under its Nxera data centre arm, which aims to become a major player in the global data center market.
